Dreaming of the Top End
Friday, 24 June 2011 05:35

After travelling the top end of Australia and lots of brolga watching, I painted 'Brolga Falls' and 'Brolgas Watering Hole'. I actually painted these at Cable Beach Caravan Park in my make shift studio/annex in between dips at beautiful Cable Beach - just a bike ride away. Could you get much better than that?

My painting inspiration comes from places I camped and travelled to in the 'top end' including brolgas (with crocodiles under foot) at Shady camp, Yellow Waters at sunrise, my beautiful campsite gorge view at Garnamarr campground, huge boabs at outback stations and beautiful billabongs and waterlilys in Kakadu. These paintings are available to view/purchase at my gallery and online
